Bonus Aviation has specialised in pilot training courses since 1985. Formerly at Leavesden, Bonus moved to Cranfield in the mid 1990's under the tenancy of Cranfield University which is also the home of the College of Aeronautics, the School of Mechanical Engineering and the Cranfield School of Management. The university operates a first class airfield which is equipped with Instrument Landing System, Beacon Approach Aids and located within easy reach of regulated airspace.
Also at Cranfield, Bonus Aviation can enjoy on-site Civil Aviation Authority examiners who are available on a daily basis. Generally, test slots for the Instrument Rating can be arranged within a week and test slots for the Commercial Pilot Skill Test can be arranged within a couple of days.
